As long as you check in our patches, I see no need for this :)
So here is some work for you:

qapplication_win.cpp:
Made a big mistake in getQColorFromSys() ... :(
Just call getQColorFromSys( COLOR_GRAYTEXT ) once.

qsettings_win.cpp:
Didn't regarded searchPaths correct
Didn't convert '/' to '\\' - simply look in your registry to see what
I've done (HKLM\Software) :-D
Reading key with empty values (strings) created strings with garbage
instead empty/default string.
