Problem W/ starting KDE (full)

Hi All,
 
I am able to start KDE (minimal) successfully and it is working great
for logging to my UNIX servers from PC(laptop) running winXP.  However,
I am not able to start the full version even after updating (U3) and
downloading the dev package.  Does anyone have any suggestion for me.
