KDE3 under cygwin having problems starting the startkde.bat

Hello,

  I've tried both solutions and I have got the even result: all is all right!  Thanks it's fantastic!  
  But with second solution I have must specified the mount's path  :  
$ cd <CYGWIN_ROOT>\bin  
$ umount -s /  
$ c:/cygwin/bin/mount -s -b <CYGWIN_ROOT> /  
  I'm working on windows Me
