Hi all,

in http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-core-devel&m=103168388425502&w=2 and
http://news.kde.org/1032748629/

is written about an Open source MS Exchange/Outlook replacement.

...
Erfrakon, Intevation and Klarälvdalens Datakonsult AB have won a bid
to write a Free software groupware server and client for the German
"Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik" (Federal Agency
for IT Security, BSI). It aims to work in a heterogenous environment
and provide email, contacts, appointments and tasks lists. Server
components will be OpenLDAP, Cyrus IMAP, Postfix, and more. The KDE
client side will be implemented by using and extending KMail,
KOrganizer and other KDE components..."

What has this to do with the kde-cygwin project ? The german c't magazin wrote
about this topic that there are plans to create a windows based client.... A
native windows kde client ?
I don't know, but in relating to the above saying, it seems to be possible for
me.

Regards
Ralf
