Hi Hans, second question: Do you installed the latest patch for kdelibs kdelibs-2.2.2-b1-p2.tar.bz2 ? it contains a patched dcopserver. If this not helps try $ strace -o dcopserver.strace dcopserver.exe -nosid Then zip the log file $bzip2 dcopserver.strace and send it to this list. Regards Ralf
