Qt3 problems: missing mkspecs? missing libqt-mt.dll.a?

I'm using this configure line to create the threaded library

$ cat config.cygwin-thread
# currently config
# libpng has configure error if using -qt-libpng
# opengl disabled because of long dll initialisation time
./configure -platform
cygwin-g++ -plugin-imgfmt-mng -thread -no-stl -system-zlib -qt-gif -system-libpn
g -system-libjpeg -qt-libmng -no-g++-exceptions -no-xft -no-xkb -disable-opengl
