The dependency freeze for KDE Applications 17.08 is on since July 13.

The Applications/17.08 branch has been created for all repositories part of
the KDE Applications 17.08 release:
https://cgit.kde.org/sysadmin/release-tools.git/tree/modules.git?h=Applications/17.08

Please use that branch for everything that should land in Applications 17.08
(bug fixes, but not only, at least until July 20th, see below). Then
forward-merge it into master (apparently all repositories do it, with the
exception of marble.git).

The next deadlines are:
July 20: Freeze and Betatag & release (only bugfixes, no string changes)
August 3: RC Tagging and Release
August 10: Tagging of the final release
August 17: Release date

See also the official page for more details:

PS. Apologize for the wide distribution, especially if you don't develop any
component part of KDE Applications, but it the biggest bundle that we ship -
223 tarballs + kdelibs right now) and there is no other easy way to reach all
the developers. On the other side, maybe you may try to fix some bugs in one
of its components :)
