[Kde-cvs-announce] KDE SC 4.7 is Done

Howdy,

The KDE Release Team has decided that the KDE SC 4.7.4 Release (which was
tagged on 1 Dec) will be the final release of the KDE SC 4.7 series.

Please don't bother backporting any more work from master into the KDE/4.7
branches as this is just a waste of your time.

Please do concentrate on making our KDE SC 4.8.0 release super-awesome by
fixing as many bugs as you can in the master branches. Note that
KDE SC 4.8.0 RC1 will be tagged on 20 Dec.

If security or critical bug fixes come up that should be put into KDE SC 4.7.4,
we can forwardthe hotfix patches to the packagers as needed.  Contact the
KDE Release Team (kde-release at kde.org) for help doing that.
