Hi Michael,
This is extremely bad timing to be trying to do anything in the application
packaging space, as the constant version bumping within Frameworks and
elsewhere is causing carnage and breakage just about everywhere.
See Flatpak for instance.
I'd suggest waiting a good week or so before trying again, as we will need
to get Craft updated to the 6.0 release made public yesterday.
Have a sneaking suspicion that this will be symlink related though.
