That is of some degree of concern that you don't understand the groupings.
For the most part the groups are intended to reflect to an extent how the
software relates to each other. You will find all of the Educational
software under Education for instance, and all Games in Games.
Likewise, applications for handling images and other similar content are in
Graphics, those that deal with video and audio are in Multimedia and
libraries for use by other developers are in Libraries.
All fairly straightforward I would have hoped.
The reason for the placement of the XWayland Video Bridge comes back to the
initial ticket that requested it be moved from a personal repository -
which you filed Aleix.
This was targeting Graphics, which is clearly inappropriate as it would
have put it alongside Krita and Digikam. For want of a better place as it
was a bit of infrastructure / behind the scenes tooling it was therefore
put in System.
There was never any mention in the ticket that it was going to be exclusive
to Plasma and not usable outside of a Plasma setting, hence why that was
not considered.
