Hi Allen,
Well, it's a bit late. KReport as a natural name hit the repo oficially in
Q2 2015 and since 2008 it was a KexiReport module as a fork of OpenRPT.
There are also QtReports, QtRPT...

Regarding confusion it can work in both directions. We've also got the
KChart ~ KDChart situation, the choice of name isn't a new fact but is
perhaps from 1998 or so.
