Hello everyone,
This is the minutes of the Week 35 KF5 meeting. As usual it has been held on
#kde-devel at 4pm Paris time.
Were present: afiestas, apol, d_ed, dfaure, mck182, mgraesslin, sebas,
shadeslayer, teo, vHanda, wojtask9 and myself.
Announcement:
* I will be away three weeks, dfaure will be running the meetings in the
meantime;
* Frameworks mini-sprint in Barcelona this saturday.
Topics discussed:
* afiestas has been adding tests to the platform theme plugin, he also
refactored it, caught some bugs in the process;
* still more patches to come in that area;
* apol is progressing on the QCollator front;
* he also added the ctrl+enter support to KStyle;
* d_ed is cleaning up KTextEdit (removing TODOs and duplicated code with
sonnet);
* dfaure work in QCommandLineParser is finally in, will soon reach qt5.git;
* he also keep moving stuff to kiocore and kiowidgets;
* he also got QFileDialog::setMimeTypeFilters() approved;
* we might also get a QJob after all;
* mck182 got the icons overlay patch in KGuiAddons;
* he's also working on the print dialog patches but jlayt is unresponsive as
usual;
* he's investigating why he has failing tests;
* and he's continuing the POSIX port work started by agateau;
* mgraesslin FindXCB module changes are ready, waiting review;
* sebas is mostly working on ports of basic plasma components, esp. tasks
engine, notifications, etc;
* he's bugfixing all over the place and planning to start tackling system
tray shortly;
* he still has to revisit the plugin system for the verification data
support;
* shadeslayer is working on the cups options patched;
* he's also planning to have a try at implementing queueing in
KDialogJobUiDelegate;
* teo is looking into the KEncodingFileDialog task;
* he's also monitoring the situation for the session management but he needs
help there (more volunteers urgently *needed*, get in touch with him);
* vHanda is working on the localized string -> QLocale compatibility task;
* he's also moving some of the kio tests to the right place;
* wojtask9 is working on KStyle;
* he's also trying to produce an app to show the dependencies between
frameworks;
* ervin is reviewing and hunting failing tests;
* he also keeps moving resources out of the root directory.
If you got questions, feel free to ask.
Regards.
