Hi KDEers,

I'm glad to announce that we've been accepted once more in the 2010
Summer of Code!

As a reminder, the KDE ideas page is here:
http://community.kde.org/GSoC/2010/Ideas. Students will now start
flocking to it to find projects to work on, so make sure to update it
with any last minute ideas you have! In particular I don't see any
kdelibs ideas, so someone might be interested in adding a few?

Mentors for projects need to be signed up in the Melange system. To
reduce the stress on the administrators, we kindly ask that you guys
apply to become mentors, and we will then go ahead and accept.

You will first need an account, described here:

http://socghop.appspot.com/document/show/gsoc_program/google/gsoc2010/userguide#depth_sitewideprofile

Also, feel free to subscribe to kde-soc-mentor at kde.org if you have not
from last year. More information about the overall progress this year
will be supplied in Lydia's upcoming blog post, so stay tuned.

cheers!
your 2010 GSoC admin team

(Leo, Ian, Lydia, and Jeff)
