Any change to the installed files that occurs after this change is a
bug. There are a few extra headers installed now, but that is it. Also
some functions that are used internally but were exported are
deprecated. That would strictly require a higher version number, but
no-one is using those very specific functions, essentially, they were
private.

So in summary, if you do a "make install" for the trunk version of
last week and for the current trunk version, you should get the same
result.
