Yeah, I've not done this yet due to work pressures, but I'll get round
to it.

If someone else wants to add a header check and proper error message if
globalsettings.h is not found then feel free, but if not I definitely
will get around to it in the next few weeks around the same time I will
commit my kmix changes (just waiting for work to clear so I can give a
vague semblance of support on those changes should it be needed).
