I'm not an English native speaker, but the string could be a bit more English, for example:
      i18n("Warning: Caps Lock is on")
I guess a native speaker could make it even more precise, eg for "on" vs "active", etc.

I guess there's no need for the statusLayout layout, which just contains capslockWarningLabel?

I don't know how to make sure the widget keeps a fixed height even if one of his childeren is hidden. I could just set the text to label to a whitespace and keep is shown, but i guess there is a proper way.
