ksnapshot assert fail

I'm using ksnapshot from... probably a 4.4 or 4.5 package, and kdelibs from 
trunk.
as of a few months ago, it hits an assert failure on startup:

newDefaultButton", file=0xb71f91f0 
"/home/chani/src/kde/kdelibs/kdeui/dialogs/kdialog.cpp", line=311)

was this ksnapshot's fault for asserting such a thing, or kdelibs' fault for 
changing behaviour? I guess it's not actually BIC, so I would *guess* the 
former, but I'm curious :)
