Personally i think this is an overkill, we are fulfilling a request from "anonymous" that nobody in kde-i18n-doc list seems to have ever asked.
Also translators are already having a difficult time matching the number of names and mail addresses in the .po file automagic credit code, if you add the possibility of adding a web address it's going to hurt.
Also there's the decision if we want people to point to external non-KDE addresses that regularly get forgotten to renew and converted into "bad dudes" pages.

Before continuing i'd suggest asking kde-i18n-doc translators if they really want this
