[PATCH] Restoring the mainwindow size

I'll go through and test to see if this patch does indeed fix these bugs when 
I get a little time. Even if it doesn't I will then try to fix these bugs as I 
find it annoying to have to resize windows of frequently used apps each time I 
open them.
