I think "powerdevil outside of a KDE desktop" is a non-issue. It's so deeply
integrated into KDE that it doesn't make sense to use it somewhere else. (KDM,
kded module, Plasma applet) I personally wouldn't spend time on making that
possible, I just think it's not worth it as long as it implements the FDO
powermanagement DBus interface.
