Ok, I'll test again in the next few days and see if I can track down
what's breaking down where.

I do know that prior to the patch I was experiencing my session dbus
taking up 100% of my CPU and not letting go.  Actually, I found
that not doing the dbus-launch in startkde worked too.

anyhow.. I'll play with it some more.
