To Sebastian, regarding (d): if you're doing mass reformatting anyway, I'd suggest astyle as per http://techbase.kde.org/Policies/Kdelibs_Coding_Style ... that way either Pino will be happy and you will have expended less effort, or else you at least have the satisfaction of griping that techbase needs a better astyle invocation ;-).
