I don't think I'm the person you ask for. :) Thanks for CC'ing, tough.
I especially like the KCustomWidgetStyleOption approach. Seems
relatively clean to me and this way it won't be necessary to extend Qt
API for mapping strings to dynamic IDs, yes?
