Well it would still be nice if people were able to open files that are sitting
there right on the disk. Even after you extract the tar you cannot navigate
into the directory with Dolphin. And the directory really is there.
So broken encoding or no there should be a way to at least detect that I would
hope. Or else go the route that Albert suggested and store the QByteArray
with the UDSEntry since it cannot be represented with QString due to the
broken encoding.
