Misuse of K_GLOBAL_STATIC?

Or.. perhaps there's no difference for static data, which is exactly what 
K_GLOBAL_STATIC defines...
Of course the rationale for keeping that, is: the ctors are often private so 
there's no way to move K_GLOBAL_STATIC out.
If there's no flaw in this the usage, I'll just think about updating api docs.
