I don't like it for the following reason:

Having overview and tab on the same line can be misleading for the user.
What if he misses few pixels when clicking on General tab? It'l hit Overview and go 
back. Weird.
Even without this weirdness it's confusing to have such button+tabs mix IMHO.

Sorry, I didn't follow this overgrown thread, but I was quite satisfied with previous 
design - including tabs positioning and their size.
