Wasn't this case covered by your test case ?
I used  the following pattern

    QStringList isAbsolutePattern;
    isAbsolutePattern << "" << "/" << "\\" << "C:/fdfdf" << "c:\\dfdffd" 
<< "/edrfdfdf" << "\\dfdfdfdf" << "\\\\dfdfdfdf";
    QStringList isRelativePattern;
    isRelativePattern << "sdsd" << "Cssss" << "." ;
