My problems with the konqueror startup view.

*) I don't like the big black area in the middle of the screen. It looks like  
a terminal window (Related to that the plasma default theme looks too dark 
(black) (depressing) for me).

*) I don't like panels with shadows created from a light source coming 
directly from the front. I personally prefere shadows from light sources 
coming from top/left or top/right.
Feels more naturally, since in real life I seldom use a head light, but more 
often have a desk lamp _next_ to me or a torch in my hand  or a lamp on the 
ceiling, so the light source of light is usally not in the same direction as 
the direction of view.

*) The slightly lighter gray behind the text "Konqueror is a ....." looks 
broken for me, as if a developer tried to match a non transparent background 
of a label to the image background of the parant widget, but didn't get the 
colour right.
