API to get memory info

There is a class the KTimeMon applet in KDE 3.5 uses that is locataed in
  3.5/kdeaddons/kicker-applets/ktimemon/sample.{cc, h}
It's pretty simple but seems to do its job very reliable.
Using libksysguard sounds like a better idea, but imo it also should go into 
Solid somehow.
