What minimal version of the X Shape extension does KDE 4.1 need to build properly?

I'm building on a Redhat machine that has the 6.8.2 version of X installed and kdebase fails to build due to 'ShapeInput' not being defined in kdebase/apps/dolphin/src/ktooltip.h

I've added the definition to the header just like in 
kdebase/workspace/kwin/utils.h and it builds.
