I remember we had lot of crash report because of binary incompatibility 
between KDE 3.1.0 and KDE 3.1.1  (Some binary packages were compiled against 
KDE 3.1.1, while their dependence was agains "KDE 3.1") (it was at least the 
case for red hat)  (Yes i know this is a package bug.)

I'd like to change to the policy so that we keep backward and forward BC 
between our patches releases.
