kio_smb gets the passwords from kio and that is using kwallet. But that 
doesn't stop from nautilus from not using kwallet to store the passwords.

And caching passwords is not the same as storing passwords in a wallet - I 
hope that much is clear. The use case is browsing a password protected
share with nautilus and then clicking on a .iso to burn it with k3b.
