Correct. Strigi broke binary compatibility with the latest release. That means 
KDE 4.1 and 4.2 have to have checks for specific versions. I don't know if 
that has been implemented.

And last I talked to Jos, since he had broken compatibility anyways, he was 
thinking of doing some other cleanup.
