In general, 3D pie charts are considered evil.  There's a discussion
on pie charts at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pie_chart#Discussion_on_use
And 3D pie charts are considered much worse :)

Having said that, I like what you've done visually.  Maybe make it
thinner, and tone down the thickness of the lines?  The kchart logo is
a beautiful 3D pie chart:     (
