[kde4 printing] Could pycups help with "kcm*print*" stuff?

This short paper gives an overview about the Redhat "system-config-printer"
tool:
https://www.linux-foundation.org/images/8/8b/System-config-printer.pdf
The tool has a Gtk GUI, but uses pycups and the libcups API to interact
with (local or remote) CUPS servers.
I'm not sure if pycups can be re-used for any KDE4-based replacement/modi-
fication of the kcm*printers code -- but at least someone with a clue
about coding should have a long look at it (as well as a look at the
"system-config-printer" tool itself, which seems to be available on
Ubuntu and Debian as well.
