We'll probably be left with such cases for some time. No time to fix 
everything.
But IMO such issues are minor compared to the 'issue' that kdeprint 
basically doesn't work and the various other problems still present in 
KDE today.
The release date *is* coming closer.  So pick your battles carefully.
