For now I've subscribed to panel-devel and will show up in #plasma, as I
still don't work fulltime I should be around pretty often.

Yeah, moving the analog clock around is quite a bit smoother, however
there's still a hiccup when starting the move where plasma and Xorg
consume quite some CPU (don't have actual numbers at hand)
