No.
If you don't produce proper HTML, results are undefined. If you get bad
rendering with proper HTML, then it can be a bug.
Note that the text edits are meant for *simple* HTML. They don't have a
full-blown parser like KHTML/WebKit. They do not work with broken or complex
HTML. And they are not meant to.
