KConfig marking empty list entries as deleted

KAddressBook (or rather the "file" contact resource) still writes
this "deleted" entry.
However, I just tried it with kconfigtest and it does not write the entry at
all. (see attachment)
From the application's point of view this is basically the same result, but
now it looks more like empty list just not being supported.
