Whats the usecase ? :)

Also, what should that class do if its not run on Linux?   I can imagine 
commands not being installed on Solaris, or it just doing something quite 
different on Windows.

Last; didn't we get an email about  going into "Release Mode" just the 
other day?  This email seems to be 6 months early ;)
