Rubber band triggered on context view [patch/hack]

Hi,
There is an annoying bug which causes the rubber band selection to be
shown after the desktop context menu is shown in plasma. If you are
like me, you'll find this very annoying, especially as the view does
not correctly redraw itself afterwards.

The provided patch is more of a hack than anything. It simply
intercepts mouse events and disables the selection drawing until after
the mouse event has been processed. I am fully aware that it is not an
acceptable patch and it does not respect many things. It is provided
merely for convenience to be used at your leisure.

If anybody has any suggestions on the correct way to solve this
problem I'd be happy to work on it.
