KDE-1 compatibility. I think the trailing ';' is known to be "not so required anymore"
by all current implementations.

Be careful with what you assume, this spec comes from KDE 1 (and 2.0), and was mostly
written by Waldo (of kde fame)... So the programming language in question is C++ :-)
