i thought about it, i read the code. short answer: no. if it wasn't so,
qprocess and qabstractsocket wouldn't have a hundred+ lines of buffering
code each. i guess the trolls should consider creating QSequentialIODevice,
but i don't count on it in this decade. ;-P
