As I said, I don't consider the new code a new subsystem anymore. It'll be
just a wrapper around QtNetwork for setting the KDE defaults (and, in KDE
4.1, per-host and per-application proxy selection).
However, the change might break a lot of code that is currently using
KStreamSocket/KBufferedSocket. I wish I could also break with one go code
that used ::socket() directly...
