well, i for one can map only r409xxx to sometime around april 2005 and
know its been kde3 stable. i'm sure you can do the same for every single
other revision, but most of us can't. ;)

i think this information is perfectly sufficient. why would you want
more? if you revive it, you'll do it against the latest version from
that branch or will port it to the most current branch anyway (in which
case the branch number you can see gives you a hint about the effort
involved).
