At least for OpenSUSE 10.2 it is very easy to install CMake 2.4.6, you only 
need to add the KDE4-repository and update cmake. Takes 2 minutes.

Schedule for OpenSUSE 10.3: Next version Thu, Mar 15: openSUSE 10.3 Alpha 2
http://en.opensuse.org/Roadmap tells me the final release date is not yet 
decided.

Feisty is scheduled for April, 26th 2007
