Ark

Hi all,

Yesterday, I was informed that the feature freeze would be today. As Ark was
not ready for that freeze yet, I removed it from trunk. Then, Dirk Mueller
told me that if had not done that, I would be allowed to substitute the
current Ark version with the new one I'm developing in a branch, but now I
couldn't do it anymore because it would be considered a new application.

So, I'd like to ask two things:

1) When is the feature freeze for applications? I used to think it was
today, and as such I would not be able to merge my branch after today, but
from what I understood of Dirk's message, I would be able to do that up to
the day beta 2 will be tagged.

2) Is there any possibility Ark can be merged again, as I wasn't aware today
wasn't the deadline? I think I can finish the basic features in a few days,
then add it back to trunk and work on bug fixing and better support for
archive types.

Thanks!
