Integrating Gwenview in kdegraphics?

If gwenview was startet from a konqueror file view, wouldn't it be smart to 
just query the konqueror view about the files instead of browsing the 
filesystem and building up a list of its own? (Yes I know, this *is* a 
challenge, but I just wanted to mention it :-) )
