Thanks, I take it that this includes KDialog, KAssistantDialog and any
other "top-level-Widgets" and thus the problem I see is a Qt4 bug.
Although the crash I just got for trying to drag/drop a KDialog in qt4
designer seems to suggest otherwise. Its crashing in
KApplication::iconLoader line 1126 trying to do
if( d->iconLoader == 0 )

It seems the "not" working preview for KMainWindow is actually a problem
of my eyes. The QMainWindow template behaves the same, which suggests
that Qt4 designer just renders a totally empty KMainWindow, which looks
the same as a simple QWidget.
