kuiserver future (to gui or not to gui)

We're really talking about vaporware here...
My idea would be that kuiserver "embeds" into plasma if plasma exists,
and is a toplevel window otherwise.
Maybe that's doable, maybe that's not, but who knows in the current state of things?
